3 days until PCI...

We're so nearly there...3 days until the PCI (Practical Completion Inspection), then the Final Inspection and then Handover. We haven't been able to go inside as the house is locked up, but we have been able to see some progress through the windows. 

Changes to date:

- garage door installed

- front porch render painted

- carpets and floorboards are in

- shower screens are in (& mirrors?)

- all shelving etc. completed

- soil along side of house has been leveled

- all electrical 2nd fix completed (lights, powerpoints & light switches etc.)

- all 2nd fix plumbing completed (taps, shower heads, toilets etc.)

- temporary fence has been removed

Things that still need doing:

- beading around al fresco beams need painting

- garage beam needs painting

- architraves above kitchen bench needs repair

- ceiling under portico needs painting

- feature (living room) wall needs painting

- garage door control panel to be installed in garage

Still waiting on:

- NBN gear to be installed

- all appliances in kitchen (cooker, dishwasher, rangehood) to be installed

(I think that these items are installed on handover day)

We are not expecting any major issues at PCI so hopefully handover will occur quickly & smoothly shortly after. 

We now have to start arranging the driveway, fencing, tv antennae, new furniture deliveries, removalist, letterbox, bin/s delivery, window coverings etc. etc. etc. And we need to clean up the footpath that is full of rubbish and weeds (i don't think the builder will be taking responsibility for this). 

Nearly there now, but so much to do :)
